<itunes:subtitle>Fishing update (Skeena River Fly Fishing)</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Noel's 18th PODCAST - Category: Mid Week fishing updates. (Sub title: Skeena River Fly Fishing). I was fly fishing with Chad Black. Chad is the operations manager and pro angling guide for Nicholas Dean Lodge here in Terrace BC. Chad is going to show us what equipment we need when fly fishing on the Skeena River for Steelhead, Sockeye, Coho and Pink Salmon.

The show starts with some quick photos of "QUALITY" sport fishing products from REDL SPORTS. All of this stuff is essential for the fly fisherman. Then we get into the fishing video. Chad hooks about a half dozen fish in a very short time, then he sits on a log and gives us a few "KEY" pointers and tips how to be successful in this exciting fly fishery.

<itunes:subtitle>Fishing update (Kalum River Chinook)</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:summary>Noel's 17th PODCAST - Category: Mid Week fishing updates. (Sub title: Fishing Kalum River Chinook). The show is a "week-end" fishing update for July 18, 2009. The Chinook (King) Salmon fishing on both the mainstem Skeena and Kalum Rivers is absolutely fantastic! I fished to with pro fishing guides Dustin Kovacvich and Jeff Langley of Nicholas Dean Lodge. We had an outstanding day hooking into many nice Chinook.

The show starts with some quick photos of "quality products" such as outboard motors, fishing rods and reels, tackle boxes and life saving equipment such as Buoy Boy and Mustang life jackets you will need for fishing this region...plus some fishing tips. Note the last two photos in the string is a GPS device that could save your life. If you every get yourself in trouble in the wilderness just turn this thing on...and punch a button and if in serious trouble the rescuers will be able to locate you quickly. Hope you enjoy the show. This is a "super" way to learn all about fishing ocean and rivers in Noel's region of beautiful northern British Columbia

<itunes:summary>Noel's 16th PODCAST - Category: Mid Week fishing updates. (Sub title: Test Fishing Kalum Chinook). Fishing the Skeena and Kalum Rivers for Chinook is happening. Pro fishing guide Dustin Kovacvich invited me on a test fish on the Kalum River prior to his guests arriving. Dustin hosts his guests at the beautiful Yellow Cedar Lodge. His aluminum jet boats are equipped with 40 HP Yamaha four stroke. His fishing rods are 8 foot St. Croix Heavy Power Graphite. His reels are Ambassadeur 7000 HSN filled with Power Pro 60-pound test braided main line, 50-pound Maxima leader, Lure Jensen Jet Divers, Cheaters with Delta Mini Skirts, Gamagatsu hooks and Gibbs "catch and release" soft mesh net. This is gear for BIG fish!

Fishing was excellent on the Skeena a few days ago but unfortunately it came up and got dirty but the Kalum is still in great shape. Hope you enjoy the show. This is a "super" way to learn all about fishing ocean and rivers in Noel's region of beautiful northern British Columbia
