Prince Rupert is the Best all round Salmon fishing area on the Canadian Pacific coast...
The only ocean fishing lodge in Prince Rupert, BC. Strategically nestled 30 miles south of the Alaska border at the crossroads of two of BC's best salmon productive rivers, the Nass and the Skeena. A fully guided, land based saltwater fishing resort, featuring cozy, quiet accommodations with a breathtaking view, seaworthy Skagit Orca boats.
Based on Digby Island, a stones throw from Prince Rupert, BC. You can expect a fully guided trip that is all inclusive. Trips will include GREAT professional guide, GREAT meals, GREAT accommodations, GREAT boats, GREAT equipment and most importantly a GREAT trip. All of your fish are professionally vacuum packed and frozen for you to take home. (except for fish caught on the final day, these will be processed and sent home fresh.)
Service is very attentive, with 6 employees for 9 guests. Our chef is fantastic and all meals are based on the freshest ingredients, cooked to perfection and mostly importantly LOTS OF IT! Hot breakfasts are served in the morning, large boxed lunches packed daily, hot appetizers are available when you return from fishing, and the best dinners and deserts you can imagine are served. Hot coffee is always available on the boats.
All boats will be newer 24 foot Skagit Orcas or Sea Sports with new engines and all the electronics you can imagine. Each boat will be equipped with an enclosed cabin, regular head, fridge, stove and heater. We refuse to fish with anything but the best equipment so all rods will be equipped with Islander MR2 or MR3 reels. Safety on the water is of utmost concern that is why we chose the Skagits and Sea Sports and have equipped all the boats with radar, GPS and high-end radios. All guides have the highest levels of training available. We know from extensive research we will have the finest fleet on the West Coast.
We are the only land based lodge within that area of BC and given our close proximity to Prince Rupert, we have no transportation issues as all guests fly in on regularly scheduled fights (Air Canada or Hawk Air) and are picked up and transported to our lodge by our boats.
Prices start for 3 people per boat $2600/ person. This is a 3day/3night trip and runs Sunday till Wednesday.
Contact Noel Gyger for more information and to book your trip

They can organize adventure sport like mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, off road motor cycle tours, skiing and snowmobiling.
Their guests stay at a "first class" fishing lodge The Skeena River system may
be the last pervasive wild salmon and steelhead fishery in In 1983 Noel Gyger started a guiding service and magazine called BIG FISH COUNTRY. A very successful operation focused on catching the largest salmon using conventional fishing methods. In 1987 Noel and friend, Cosmo Zavaglia started Northwest Fishing Guides and Lodge shortly there after. Noel and Cosmo established a reputation and grew the business over the next few years. In 1997, Noel and his wife Gail purchased Cosmos’s share of the lodge. Both of them continued to grow the business. With hard work, dedication and a good team of fishing guides, the company was a success. In November 2001 Noel and Gail retired and sold the business to Dustin and his partners. Dustin and his team have amassed over 850 repeat clients from all over North America, Europe and Asia. They have been featured on many sport fishing television shows with over 11 shows produced with Canadian Sport Fishing shown on The Outdoor Life Network and the Sports Network in Canada. In the USA we have been featured on ESPN’s Fly fishing the World with John Barrett and Steve Abel Reels. Head Guide Dustin, an avid BC fisherman since the age of 2 and a former guide for Noel Gyger. Dustin is dedicated to offering the highest quality fishing adventure in Northwestern BC’s Skeena Region. Trip Package includes: -

I am pleased to offer numerous fishing packages for each of the main seasons on the world-renowned Skeena River and its tributaries in 2010:
Spring Steelhead & Spring Chinook March 14 to May 20, 2008 Classic northwest steelheading at its best. They guide on many wild and scenic rivers filled with large, wild Steelhead. Mid-way through the season, aggressive Spring Chinook begin to show and add an exciting dimension. They have limited space during this popular season.
This is a great time for both fly (spey and single hand) and spin rods for BIG Steelhead on the Kalum, Lower Copper, Kitimat and main Skeena. Here is a photo of the record 32-pound fish from the Kalum River. Space is limited. Secure your spot by contacting me today.
Chinook Fly Fishing April 26 to August 6, 2008 Looking for big game fly fishing in fresh water? Like the challenge of hooking and landing big, sea-run fish? If so, I have just the package for you. The Skeena region offers the fly fisher prime opportunities to target chrome-bright, aggressive Chinook (King) Salmon in three seasons.
Trophy Chinook July 13 to August 6, 2008 Trophy Chinook season in Northwestern British Columbia is when we do battle with the giants of the Skeena. The rivers are full of massive Chinook (King) Salmon, which average as astounding 20 to 50-pounds. Fish over 70-pounds are caught every year and there is even a chance at a Salmon over 100-pounds. These fish are fresh from the sea and in peak condition. They are chrome bright and extremely powerful. Expect sore arms and hot thumbs!
Skeena Camp Package July 13 to September 20, 2008 Simply put, Northwestern British Columbia's Skeena River is the Steelhead and Salmon superhighway. In summer and fall the lower main channel Skeena hosts vast numbers of migrating Steelhead, chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Chums and Pinks headed for numerous upriver tributaries. To take full advantage of this prolific fisher and offer a high-quality, high-value fishing adventure, Dustin and his team have developed an on-river Skeena Camp package. Renowned rivers such as the Babine, Kispiox, Sustut, Bulkley, Morice, Copper (Zymoetz) and Kalum enter the Skeena above their camp and all fish bound for these rivers must pass directly in front of them before reaching their spawning grounds. Only a day or two out of the ocean, at the peak of their size, strength and beauty, these are among the biggest and most aggressive Steelhead and Salmon on Earth. To hook one of these fish on a fly in the broad, lower Skeena is to touch the heart of the wilderness - an experience not to be forgotten!
Summer Steelhead & Five Species of Pacific Salmon August 6 to September 6, 2008 If you're after the ultimate Trout - the meanest, hottest, sea-lice covered, Monster Steelhead - you'll want to be on the lower Skeena and tributaries during this season. These awesome fish average 8 to 15-pounds, 20-pounds is not uncommon, and a world record catch is not beyond imagination. It's typical for even average fish to go on unstoppable runs, leaping all the way. These ultra-chrome rockets have left many an angler with shaking hands and wanting more. There is also the added bonus of being able to catch all five species of Pacific Salmon during this time.
Fall Steelhead & Trophy Coho August 31 to October 25, 2008 This is the season that has made the Skeena justifiably famous. Fish wild rivers for huge, aggressive Steelhead. Their fall fish are surface-oriented and can readily be taken with waking and dry flies. Skeena Coho (Silver) average 10-pounds, commonly reach 20-pounds, and world record 30-plus fish are always present. They fish some of the most beautiful wilderness rivers in the world. Towering, snow-capped mountains rising over 3000 feet above meandering streams surrounded in the orange, red and green of British Columbia's coastal autumn make for an experience that you'll never forget. It doesn't get any better!
Early Winter Steelhead October 26 to November 23, 2008 This is indeed a special season, a season of legendary fish and legendary anglers. Non-steelheaders think it's insane to step out into a frost-covered morning and wade into a freezing , wild river. We know better though. Dustin and his team know pools full of large, Wild Steelhead awaiting any angler brave enough and prepared to face the elements. A few casts. A solid strike. A savage battle and it all comes together as you look down on the shimmering, broad shoulders of a large buck Steelhead in the shallow water at your feet. If this if what you live for, their Early Winter Steelhead season is for you.
Helicopter Fishing Options April 20 to November 23, 2008 They offer many unique helicopter fishing options for the adventure-minded angler. Helicopter allow the opportunity to fish untouched expanses of spectacular wilderness rivers that teem with Trophy Steelhead and Salmon. Approximate cost for Helicopter is $2000 to $4000, depending on which rivers are fished. I am sure you will enjoy your experience in the exclusive Skeena Valley fishery. "Where every cast is an adventure!" "Thanks for an unforgettable experience! First Steelhead on a fly, what more can I say ... appreciate all the hard work!" - Peter McLeod, England Cast here to read more testimonials from happy guests.
